Compounding
At URIL, compounding is an art form – transforming basic rubber into high-performance materials tailored for specific applications. Our expert chemists combine raw rubber with critical additives such as:
- Curatives
- Accelerators
- Fillers
- Plasticizers
- Anti-oxidants
to create custom formulations.
These compounds are developed from a variety of polymers, including natural rubber, EPDM, SBR, Nitrile, and Polychloroprene, to meet intricate specifications and unique customer needs.
Although, we have compound suitable for customer’s needs, our experience in polymer engineering enables the development of new compound to meet special requirements.
Preforming & Moulding
Preforming: We leverage state-of-the-art extrusion techniques, utilizing hot feed, cold feed, and ram type (bar-well) extruders. This allows us to preform rubber into virtually any form, shape, and size with high precision and tight tolerances, meeting the exact demands of engineered rubber products.
Advanced Moulding Capabilities: Our rubber moulding operations employ both compression and injection methods, supported by a fleet of presses ranging from 1 to 1000 tons. This diverse machinery enables us to produce both standard and specialized products efficiently, regardless of the complexity or volume required.
